Solo entry until December 31, 2012 - $ 379 per person plus applicable taxes Solo entry after December 31, 2012 - $ 429 per person plus applicable taxes Relay team entry - $749 per team plus applicable taxes There will be a limit of 350 entries for 2013.

June 29, 2013 7:30 to 8:30 - Special Needs Bag Drop off at Start Area on 1st Ave at 5th Street 9:00 am - Mass Start on 1st Ave at 5th Street approximately 11 am to 3 pm - Finish on 1st Ave at 5th Street
June 30, 2013 7:30 to 8:30 - Special Needs Bag Drop off at Start Area at Fernie Mountain Resort 8:30 am - Wave 1 start of 1st 100 placing riders from Day 1 8:35 am - Wave 2 start of 2nd 100 riders from Day 1 8:40 am - Wave 3 start of all remaining riders approximately 11 am to 3 pm - Finish on 2nd Ave at 5th Street
July 1, 2013 7:30 to 8:30 - Special Needs Bag Drop off at Start Area on 1st Ave at 5th Street 9:00 am - Wave 1 start of 1st 100 placing riders from Day 2 9:05 am- Wave 2 start of 2nd 100 riders from Day 2 9:10 am - Wave 3 start of all remaining riders approximately 11 am to 3 pm - Finish on 2nd Ave at 5th Street and receive finishers hoodie 5:00pm to 6:00pm - Awards dinner for people with meal tickets will be served at the Fernie Community Centre. 6:00pm to 7:00 pm - Awards for top placing handed out as well as draw prizes for Athletes and Volunteers. Refund Policy
- Full refunds are available up to and including April 15, 2012. Refunds will be charged a $50 admin fee per person, which will be subtracted from your refund. - Rollovers are available up to and including May 1, 2012. Rollovers can only be used for the next year. They cannot be rolled over for 2 years. - Transfers are available up to and including June 15, 2012. It will be up to you to find your replacement. All transfers of monies are up to the individuals. - If you transfer a spot after May 1, the person that purchases the spot will get clothing the sizes that were originally ordered by the initial participant.
Prize Money
$5000 Total Prize money will be awarded to the top 3 men and top 3 women in the Open categories. Anyone entered into the Open category to compete for prize money forfeit the opportunity to place in their respective age category. Prize monies will be split as specified below.
Mens Open
1st Place - $1200 2nd Place - $900 3rd Place - $400
Womens Open
1st Place - $1200 2nd Place - $900 3rd Place - $400
Categories
There are now 5 different categories for men and 5 different categories for women to choose from. Pick your poison-so to speak! There is a limit of 350 entries for Furious3 Fernie. So you will want to sign up early for the Furious3 experience.
Solo
Solo is pretty straight forward. Nobody to count on but yourself and the goal is just to get from the start to the finish as fast as you can. Solo will be broken down into 6 categories for prize purposes. They are:
- Womens Open - Open to any age women who wants to race for the Prize Money
- Women Under 30
- Women 30+
- Women 40+
- Women 50+
- Mens Open - Open to any age men who wants to race for the Prize Money
- Men Under 30
- Men 30+
- Men 40+
- Men 50+
2 Person Teams
Due to a lack of interest in 2012 we have done away with the team events.

What you get for your entry:
- A Furious3 Commemorative T-Shirt - A donation will be made to the local trails group which goes to supporting the maintenance and development of the trails we use. - Aid stations fully stocked with Hammer Gels, Heed Energy Drink, and Hammer Energy Bars supplied by our friends at Hammer Nutrition as well as water, bananas, oranges and Coke at some stations. - On course Ambassadors with basic extra food, medical and bike supplies just in case. - Special need bags to be dropped at aid stations for each participant if wanted. See below for more info - World Class medical support at the finish line as well as search, rescue, and emergency extraction crews to aid in any medical emergencies on the trail. - Awards and draw prizes for the winning riders as well as all participants and volunteers. - Onsite bike service supplied by the Local Sponsor Bike Shop if needed. Overnight service. Just drop your bike off at the end of the day’s stage and pick it up the next morning all ready to ride. (This will be charged according to bike shops parts and service pricing) - Onsite availability of massage therapists at the end of each stage. (Check with therapist for rates) - Discounted rates on accommodation at sponsor hotels. Just mention that you are a participant in the race. - Last, but not least…the greatest 3 day mountain bike experience in the world—at least we think so.
Aid Stations
Aid stations will be fully stocked with food, water, and Hammer Nutrition products. There will also be First Aid kits and basic bike tool kits. Food that will be at each aid station are as follows:
- Hammer Gels
- Hammer Energy Bars
- Heed Energy Drink
- Water
- Oranges
- Bananas
- Coca-Cola at second aid stations
Special Needs Bags
Two “special needs” bags will be given to each participant at registration. You may use these if you wish, but it is not mandatory. Each morning you will fill the bags with what you think you may need on course. You can put anything you want in them that is not illegal in any UCI rules. You can put clothing, nutrition, or tools/tires/tubes, etc. If you can fit it in the bag, you can put it in there. One of these bags will be labeled and taken to aid station #1 and the other to aid station #2. There will be a drop area at the Start/Finish so that you can drop these off. They will have to be dropped off 30 minutes before the first wave start time. If you get it there any later, it probably will not make it out to the aid station. After the race, the special need bags will be delivered to a central pickup point (location to be announced) to be claimed, and you can pick them up to repack for the next day.
